Those are some interesting facts about New Zealand! You are absolutely correct, the official languages of our country is English and Maori but there is one more, do you think you could find out what our third official language is? I actually wish I could learn our third official language but I can only speak English and Mandarin. What languages do you speak or wish to learn? What a unique and special bird we have, don't you think? Do you have friends who are from another country and do they call you a Kiwi? When I go to visit my friends in Australia, Taiwan or South Africa, they call me a Kiwi! They thought it was funny to be calling me a bird but I told them it is a normal nickname here in New Zealand.
