Start of The Year

 2022

Welcome to 2022 it is the start of a new year which means new and exciting things to learn. For some of us it was a big step moving to a different class with a different environment and with people you barely know, but then it is also very different for the people who have been in the same class but has to take on the role of being the leader's and being responsible for once in our lives, we also have to set a good example for the younger children in the school. 

My experience in Room 2 so far this year has been very different than last year. Having to deal with different people everyday is a challenge in itself. I now have to deal with people that annoy me and frustrate me as well I am also trying to push myself and get a reward at the end of the year. I am trying my best in class.

This is my summer poem and I did it based on what my summer is like.

SLJ Activity 8

This is my paper boats I love doing stuff like this. I did make them both out of different types of paper the green one was made out of card and the red one is just normal printer paper. I thought because the paper is dyed it would die the water but it didn't and I was kinda shocked. I ended up timing them as well the red one lasted 11 minutes and the green on 15 minutes. I think the green one lasted longer because it is thicker paper and could handle the water where the red one was thinner and just soaked it right up. Over all I thought it was a fun activity to do I just found it hard to make the boats.

 This is cup and saucer I had to get a little help from my mum because I didn't quite understand the video it went over top of my head but now I love doing it. 

SLJ Activity 6

 

This is my food collage. I went around asking my family what they like to eat at summer and this is what we came up with. I also asked them why they like eat that and told me this: "Because there is no  right time to eat that unless it is summer otherwise it seem wrong." and I totally agree with some like the ice cream and some others. The hardest part about it was getting my brother to tell me because he had no idea and finding the right photos was quite hard as well but I think this is a good reposent of what we eat over summer.

This is my coding, I enjoyed this activity very much because I love solving this and figuring stuff out. I found it really hard to make my own for others to figure out because you don't want to give to much away but then you don't want to give to least so I found it hard to do that with making it make sense as well.

 I made a beach scene out of random stuff I found in my backyard I don't think it really looks like good but I tried.

 This is my Ladybug that I made using stuff I had I my backyard. I used leafs for the body, sticks for the legs and a pebble for the head my little sister did one as well she made spider and helped me find the stuff for my ladybug as well I appreciated her help. It was all so because she was board and it was my turn to entertain her.

Rubbings

In room 2 we have been experimenting with rubbings  and how they work so far we have made two rubbings one when we have rub leafs and then draw a kiwi on it and the other one we made the template by ourselves with cardboard and glue then we taped paper on it and rub it with crayon. 

 

Plot

This is my plot book we had to explain where the element of plot are and we had to draw what is happening and then write about it on the white peace we also had to make a front cover and a back we got to pick the book we wanted to do it on I did mine on the babysitter club.

Pick a Path

 

This is my pick a path if you don't know what a pick a path is let me tell you. It is when someone writes a story with lots of ending and you get to pick what way you are going to go. Have a go at mine hope you like it.

What is involved in a pick a path we had to choose a theme what we wanted to do our story on then we made it on google slides. Everyone did it differently.
